Create More Than Consume (createmorethanconsume.org) is designed with privacy in mind. This policy covers both the main site and the 365 creativity tracker app.

What we collect

We collect minimal data. Depending on how you use the site, this may include:

• 365 app (anonymous): your creation goal text, days you've marked as created, and optional notes — stored against a random unique ID, with no name or email attached
• 365 app (Google sign-in): the above, plus your Google account's profile name and ID, used only to identify your dashboard across devices
• Newsletter sign-up: your email address, used only to send the weekly newsletter
• Analytics: anonymous, aggregate data via Google Analytics (page views, general location, device type) — only loaded if you accept cookies

How we use your data

Your 365 dashboard data is stored to display your progress and sync it across devices. We never sell, share, or use your data for advertising. Your email address is used only to send you the newsletter; you can unsubscribe at any time via the link in any email.

Google sign-in

If you choose to sign in with Google, we receive your Google profile ID and public name. We use this solely to link you to your 365 dashboard across devices. We do not access your Google contacts, calendar, Gmail, or any other Google data.

Cookies and local storage

The 365 app uses your browser's local storage (not cookies) to remember your dashboard link on the device you're using. The main site uses cookies only for Google Analytics, and only if you explicitly accept them via the cookie banner.

Data security

All connections use HTTPS encryption. User inputs are sanitised to prevent code injection. We never sell your data to third parties.

Your rights

You can:

• Access your 365 data at any time through your unique dashboard link
• Delete your progress by clearing your dashboard
• Unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time
• Request deletion of your data by contacting us

Third-party services

We use the following third-party services:

• Google Analytics — anonymous traffic analytics (only with your consent)
• Google OAuth — optional sign-in for the 365 app
• Netlify — site hosting and serverless functions
• Netlify Blobs — encrypted storage for 365 dashboard data
